How To Hand Wash

Washing Care

iSwim underwear and swimsuits washing method: please wash with cold water, do not bleach, do not use chemical dry cleaning, do not dry and iron, do not dehydrate at high speed, please dry naturally in the shade

Underwear Cleaning

  • The color of the fabric is dyed (including white), so the underwear should be cleaned before wearing.
  • The color fastness of different fabrics or colors may vary, and some colors may fade in the water during the first few washes.
  • Please wash dark and light-colored underwear separately. Do not mix wet underwear or swimsuits to avoid staining each other.

Swimwear Cleaning

  • Go to the pool to swim or play in the water at the beach. Before swimming, wet the swimsuit with water. Less chlorine will be absorbed in the swimsuit. After swimming in the sea or the pool, please be sure to Rinse with plenty of water, because the chlorine in the pool and the salt in the sea will damage the swimsuits.
  • Do not use washing machines, dryers, etc. to clean the swimsuits. Generally, just rinse them with water and soak them in water for 20 minutes. Soak them one or two times to release the chlorine remaining in the swimsuits. To ensure that the chlorine has been completely eliminated, you can check the smell of bleach has been eliminated.
  • If the swimsuits are dirty or has tanning/sunscreen lotion, you can soak in water, add a small amount of neutral soap (the dishwashing detergent is also good), soak it gently, then rinse it in clean water. Do not use laundry detergents such as bleach, hot water, special laundry detergent.
  • Put the swimsuits in a large towel (it is better if you use a dry absorbent towel), and dry it in a flat place or simply on a hanger and put it in a well-ventilated place. Do not use a clothes dryer, or expose it directly to the sun, or use a high temperature method such as an iron to dry. These wrong behaviors lead to fragile material of the swimsuit.
  • After washing, please dry in the shade. Do not store in a sealed bag. If the swimsuits are still hydrated, the fibers may harden after prolonged storage. swimsuits can be stored with regular clothing, but not in silicone caps.
  • Please avoid mixing wet dark swimsuits with other light-colored clothes to avoid staining each other.
  • In the summer sun, if swimsuits are placed in the trunk of a car or motorcycle for a long time. they will be placed like in a steamer, which will easily cause slack and fade or stain each other.
  • If the climate in your area is hot, avoid mixing the silicone cap with swimsuit and goggles for long time to avoid prolonged sultry cause sticking.
  • Remember! Bleach, washing machine, dehydrator, dryer, etc. will all damage the elastic fibers of swimsuit.

Chlorine

  • If the chlorine remains in the swimsuit's fabric after swimming, it will continue disintegrating the fabric, color and elasticity even it looks dry. Because the chlorine itself has the role of bleaching, and easily damage the swimsuit fabric (especially wearing more comfortable swimwear made in nylon fabric).
  • Just washing the swimsuit in ordinary water or soap water, will not remove chlorine from the material fiber. Chlorine is a powerful chemical and is essential for sanitation in the swimming pool, but it is not a friendly environment for swimsuits. In order to maintain the suit in good condition and extend its life, it is necessary to dilute the residual chlorine.
  • Therefore, we recommend that after the use of the pool with chlorine, be sure to soak water to dilute the residual chlorine, Soak at least twice for 15 to 20 minutes in clean water.
